I touched the clouds! #Naxos

Hi & Salam!
This day was soo cozy and cool! We went up to an old village/town in the mountains. Right before our destination, we found a restaurant in the middle of nowhere, we stopped and ate lunch since the view was a killer. I will probably never have lunch in a place with that type of view again. Loved it!

The village had small cute houses and shops. We went in to a church and listened to the priest, an older woman welcomed us and she was so tiny and kind! Hihi. Outside of the church, there were people sitting everywhere, out on the streets, playing games and talking to each other. I loved that typical greek vibe you would see in movies.

After we roamed around we went to the place where we had lunch and watched the sunset. I can to this day say that the sunset we saw that day was the coolest!! We were on top of a mountain and we were sitting with our feet hanging down the edge of the road. That adrenalin tho! The yellow color of the sunset was so strong but that actually disappeared pretty fast, it suddenly got super cloudy… I have seen 50 shades of clouds and all types of clouds where I live but subhanaAllah that was to another level! The clouds were coming from the ocean under us and slid up towards us. I got soo excited seeing the clouds coming up my way! And YES I touched the clouds, it passed by/through us and the clouds were so cold. Coolest feeling!!

We had to hurry down since it was getting too cloudy and gloomy, we were afraid it would be impossible to drive. So we headed down and got something to eat. Down in the city there were literally no sign of clouds lol, subhanaAllah. What a day!

A day by the castle ♥

Me and Zora went to the most gorgeous place yesterday. The weather was absolutely amazing and we decided to visit ‘Drottningholm slott’, a castle in Drottning. It was warm but windy at the same time,  we brought snacks with us and just roamed around. We were there for a little more than two hours but felt like 30 minutes lol. It has been warm these past four days which has been awesome(!) because it had rained and been cloudy for more than two weeks. Basically since I got home from Morocco. So I have finally been able to enjoy Stockholm a little bit these past days BUT… now it’s cloudy and rainy again as I’m writing this post. I’m headed out now but do come back and visit my blog again for my (last) Dubai vlog, Morocco and Spain vlogs (from this summer vacay) that will start rolling in here! 🙂

Rotana Cafe

Today a friend of mine went to Jordan and last week two of my friends traveled as well.. It’s my turn soon inshaAllah and I can’t wait!! I’m sitting here thinking about a place me and my friends (two of them that have traveled) went to before Ramadan called Rotana café, seriously I loooved that place. I love fries and they had the best fries ever, and everything was super delicious. I miss my girls already!!

We didn’t decide on a dresscode (the colours), it just happened… But loved it! 🙂20150616_192911

Swedish summer – 50 shades of grey.

– Pictures taken from my bedroom window.

These pictures literally describes how the “summer” has been here. I think we got three hot summer days and the rest of the summer contained of 50 shades of clouds and then rain. It has to be the coldest summer in a really (!) long time. During Ramadan I was like ‘woop woop’ but before Ramadan and now after it gets a bit dull, like today. I’ve been like a zombie all day long. I tried to go out, went shopping and bought some sushi (yummy 🙂 ) but at the end of the day it was a dark and cloudy day and my body was like “okey lets turn into a dark cloud as well”, so I’ve been feeling like a zombie all day long. But alhamdulillah for everything, people have literally been dying of the heat this year… SubhanaAllah.. So I should not be complaining.
Hope everyone else is having a great summer so far!

Reminder: 2/3 of Ramadan.

SubhanaAllah half of ramadan is already gone, it went by super fast!! I usually divide ramadan into three parts, 1/3, 2/3 and 3/3. 10 days each. Okey so I’m just writing this post as a reminder to myself and to all of my muslim peeps!

I went out for a walk with my sister, her new adorable baby and my mom. During this walk I was just thinking about our fasting and how fast ramadan goes by. It feels like it goes by faster every year, subhanaAllah. Anyway and during these 30 days of fasting this is what I’ve noticed:
– 1/3: the first days are super exciting for everyone, everyone is not only fasting but they are feeding their souls. These are the days people set goals and everyone is trying to be better muslim. Which is awesomesauce!!
– 2/3: this is where it kind of takes a turn for some people. When we come to the second and middle part of ramadan alot of people tend to slack and forget alot about what this month is about. People only fast from food and aren’t reading enough quran or making alot of dua anymore etc.
– 3/3: This is the last period of the month where people regain their hype and imaan again. They start to do better and then baam… The month is over.

Now.. Ramadan is a month of the year. This means it’s only 30 days(!) of a good 365 days! Try to not slack, try to take advantage of this holy month. Try to get rid of bad habits, get new/good ones and just make this month count. Make the WHOLE month meaningful. Half of it is already gone, spend the rest of the time wisely and try to stay motivated, even if it can be tough during summer. I really hope everything is going well for everyone, I know the days in most countries can be super long but inshaAllah you’ll get through it with your body and soul. May Allah reward you for your effort and make it easy upon all of you! 🙂

Bought our tickets!!

And yet again I have a travelfever.. Now that it’s summer, and my first summer at home, It feels so weird. Being here is cozy for sure, I get to just do nothing after a year of hard work and I get to hang out with my family etc. But I’m not used to staying home over the summer, I’m always in Morocco.. So travelfever, game strong!! First summer away from motherland.

Me and my bestie bought our tickets, so inshaAllah a week after Ramadan we’re off to Barcelona, Spain and Rome, Italy. I CAN’T WAIT!!! InshaAllah it’s gonna be awesome, but for now I’m just looking at some pictures from my last trip (to Dubai, best trip so far). Aaghh alhamdulillah for everything! Hope everyone is having a great summer!! 🙂

#Dubai. Amazingly nice and comfy outfit from H&M.

Right now I’m looking through my Dubai pictures, aaahh how I miss it!

After a long time I’m finally back to posting stuff around here! Missed my little blog! 🙂

This spring/beginning of summer has been the coldest ever! But Alhamdulillah the weather these days has been super nice. Right now I’m sitting in my balcony and enjoying the fresh air while finally posting on the blog. But aaah the warm weather has been amazing mashaAllah! This weekend I enjoyed it extra much together with my two close friends Yosra and Zora. We had a barbeque on Yosras terrace and it was super cozy. Love catching up with my girls!

Love the comfy dress I’m wearing from Forever 21, it’s not a see-through which is unusual these days.

The one with all the blue

Hi and Salam Waaleykom!

My Internet has not been working for five days. It is insanely weird to be withouth internet because literally everything is on there, even my homework. Anyways.. This post is about our visit to Chef Chaouen. I loove that place, it is so small and beautiful, everything is white and blue. Looks like Greece and I love Greece. My adorable friend matched here outfit to the place, so cute haha. 🙂

Hi and Salam Waaleykom lovelies!

Hope everyone is doing great this Ramadan. Right now i’m sitting in our home in Morocco. Alhamdulillah, I got here on Thursday and now it’s Wednesday. I’ve been here for almost a week and I got to tell you guys time flies by. The first two days were the hardest: I had to clean the whole house from scratch and I missed my family and friends so much! It felt weird being here by myself since that has never happened before. But after those two days when I was settled with everything at home, I’d met my cousins and family, I got used to it. But alhamdulillah we talk constantly and in a couple of weeks they will be here! 🙂 And alhamdulillah my travel from Sweden to Spain and Spain to Morocco went well.

– Until next time in shaa Allah! ❤
