The little things aren’t little♥

I’ve been thinking about how people today don’t notice or reflect on the little things in life that make us happy. I recently asked that question to two teenagers, without recieving an answer on what small things (it could be everyday stuff) make  them happy. Today I talked about it again with a few of my co-workers over lunch. Since they are older they are wiser (you know who you are haha) so I got a discussion and answer out of it. But being able to foucs on the little things in life really does make a difference in the attitude  we have and our mood.

It’s the little things that make us happy everyday, not the big events that happen every now and then. Be enthusiastic about the small, everyday, stuff. Be happy when someone compliments you, be happy when someone offers you something, be happy when you’re out for a walk, when you listen to your favourite song or when you hang out with your family & friends. Appreciate the little things, the things that happen often. Happiness does not need to be grand but it does make you feel great! 🙂

“The little things? The little moments? They aren’t little.”

2016, Alhamdulillah! (Picturetime! TB!)

Aaaand another year has passed and as always I’m super thankful for everything I’ve been through and experienced this year. I thank God for all the new memories and for a year of good health, blessings, family, happiness, Love and God. I pray that 2017 will be a better year for everyone on this planet, for every human being. It doesn’t matter what race, religion or gender.. I just hope God blesses our human race and makes 2017 more peaceful. Humanity failed itself during 2016, so I hope we’ll sprinkle love and kindness everywhere we go during 2017.

May Allah give our brothers and sisters around the world a better life. May Allah bless us with pure hearts, with patience, with good morals and characters. May we all live in happiness and peace. Most importantly, may God guide us through another year and through life. Amen!

I’ve had a wonderful year with friends and family, there have been weddings, graduations and trips etc. Alhamdulillah for everything! I thought I’d share some pics as a throwback of 2016. Hope you enjoy!!

Italy, Rome!! #4

In Rome me and Zora bought like a million braclets. They were so simple and cute! That was kind of our ‘thing’ in Italy lol. The last day we just wandered around and enjoyed the last things there were to see. There are people everywhere, playing music, painting and what not. My amazing bestie bought me flowers and then we enjoyed a last meal on the rooftop of our hotel, with an amazing view of Rome. Miss it so much already!DSC_1155DSC_1159 DSC_1161 - Kopia DSC_1162 DSC_1167 DSC_1170 DSC_1172 DSC_1174 20150809_223123

I loved ITALY, I can’t say it enough! These are the last pictures I’m posting from that trip but Rome was a beautiful city. The whole city is a museeum, it was amazing alhamdulillah. So where do you think I should go next?! I have to say I am already planing my next trip, I always have a travelfever.. I think you’ve noticed that lol.

Hope everyone is doing great! Don’t forget to pray for our brothers and sisters around the world! Hold on to every piece of love, hope and positivity you have because you’ll need it in this messed up world.

Spain- Barcelona, Part 3!

Day 4
That morning we woke up and went to Parc guall. We had bought tickets to go in at 12. We were lucky that day since it was cloudy, it wasn’t hard to walk around alot since it wasn’t sunny, but it was still warm.

It was so tall that I almost fell while walking and looking at it. We couldn’t get the whole building in our pictures lol.DSC_0741 DSC_0744
Then we met up with my cousins(from spain and holland), ate dinner and went to the beach at night.
DSC_0756 DSC_0765 DSC_0779 DSC_0781 DSC_0826We went to Barceloneta and we were just chillin there all night long. It was super nice and cozy! And then we took the first train home in the morning. Lovely day!
The two outfits I’m wearing are probably my two favourite outfits ever. They look nice (hehe) and they are super comfy!!! I will probably do a separate post about these outfits.

Spain – Barcelona, Part 1!

Hi and Salam waaleykom!
I thought I’d share pictures from my two week trip to Barcelona, Spain and Rome, Italy. We went ten days to Barcelona where we met my cousins from Barcelona and my couins from Holland, and then from there we went to Rome. We were in Rome for five days, Alhamdulillah this trip was amazing. Here are some pictures and then there is more to read after the pics, for the ones that like to read hehe.

Day 1 – Travel day 🙂DSC_0442

Day 2 – Barcelona
La boqueria Market in Barcelona is a m a z i n g, I wanted everything. We came back another day to taste some things.DSC_0491DSC_0492DSC_0498DSC_0499
La Rambla was definitely one of my favorite places in Barcelona, it never ended!DSC_0509DSC_0514
I vloged this trip, hope I have enough footage to post a good video iA! 🙂 ↑
DSC_0577DSC_0578DSC_0568It started to rain so we decided to dance in the rain, of my bucket list lol!↑

The first thing I’m gonna say is that Barcelona was super hot. I’m the kind of person that never drinks enough water but my God did I drink alot this trip!! I felt so dehydrated this trip, since it was so warm and sweaty I had to drink alot. This meant that I didn’t drink alot of Coca Cola. Woho! My mum is proud of me, just saying lol. Anyway this is the sixth trip in four years for me and my bestie, alhamdulillah!! I feel so blessed to be able to experience everything in life. The first day was spent with the cousins, we were all just chilling and catching up. Loved hanging out with them!! The next day we went to check in to our hotel and then we just hung out with my cousin and walked around La rambla. We had so much fun that night, cozy walk and alot of laughs happened. 🙂 (If you made it this far you’re amazing.)
Barcelona sure left a mark on me. To be continued…
– Until next time in shaa Allah! ❤
